The ceremony was great, and I admit to cryin like a baby at the alter... smh.
As far as I am concerned, you do three major things in this life we live.
You are born, you get married, and then you DIE.
I kinda tried to say this at the wedding during the toast, but I am hoping that I can word it better here.
The most profound thing about marriage is that its a decision we make for our "forever".....
We decide we want things in our lives everyday, but very few of them do we say we want forever.
I have never had a burger that I wanted to eat everyday of my life.
I have never bought a shirt that I thought I could wear forever.
Shoot, I have a hard time buying DVDs cuz I rarely watch a movie more than once!
Ok, so I know my examples may be a little off base, but to say that I want another individual in my life, for the rest of my days is monumental.
From now on when CJ looks into Puff's eyes, he is staring at something that will be by his side everyday; essentially gazing into his future. When he holds her, he will be holding his "forever", growing with his "forever", loving his "forever"..
My prayer is that the moments that he shares with his wife this past week will never fade from his memory, and that he will always remember his decision and the reasons behind it.
My "forever"??....eh. different blog for another day.
Pix came out good. Wish I could have taken more and done more with em, but I was IN the wedding... only so much I can do. Enjoy.
