Precious...eh

I saw precious the other day and I have to say that, though it probably it is a touching story of a young woman that overcame A LOT, I found its depiction to be sub par. Mariah Carey actually did a phenomenal job in her role, and Paula Patton was inspiring, but I just could not take Monique seriously... All her attempts to be nasty and mean translated into funny punch lines, that actually had me rollin!!! (ask my date.)
